HINT:
Use the lowest mesh count that will hold the details of your design. On dark shirts, most printers use the "PRINT-FLASH-PRINT" technique. Maximizing ink film thickness is an essential part of bleed resistant prints. Since high opacity inks lay down thicker, they need more time in the dryer to cure.
Hints: All inks heat cure at 320 degrees. Dark colored substrates, heavier ink deposits and heavier substrates (ie. sweatshirts) require much longer cure times/temps. Heat tapes are a good way to check your dryer. Do a "Stretch Test" by pulling the ink between your thumbs (properly cured plastisol will usually stretch at least 1/8" without cracking). A "Wash Test" is the only fool proof way to test ink cure. Stir all inks before using to get the ink flowing properly. Metallic inks require more time and heat to cure because they reflect IR energy. Metallic inks also are likely to dull and oxidize when washed. To thin inks add curable reducer (up to 25% by volume). You can add curable reducer to HI TEST inks but adding more than 2-4% can reduce opacity and bleed resistance. To increase ink volume (i.e.. when you don't have enough of an ink color to finish a job) add extender base which is ink without any color pigment.

Get the best performance out of all spray cans by shaking before using. At the end of the day turn adhesive cans upside down and spray for a few seconds to clear adhesive from the nozzle tip. Spray in a quick, even pattern and allow a few seconds for the adhesive to "tack up" or dry before putting on your first shirt. Several thin layers of adhesive applied in the morning will give you a good adhesive base. Adhesives will not transfer to the inside of your shirts unless you spray too much adhesive (making puddles of adhesive on your pallets never helps either). To remove adhesive transfer from shirts, turn the shirt inside out, run back through dryer and immediately use a piece of sticky packing tape to rip the excess adhesive from the shirt.

16X257 is the standard sewing machine needle. It was originally designed for high speed sewing and does fine for that purpose. DBXK5 is becoming the needle of choice for embroiders. The eye is one size larger than normal, allowing thread to pass more easily, without fraying or snapping. This needle is basically a 16X257 only with a larger eye. 287WHK is basically a 16X257 with a shorter point. Used mostly on older Barudan machines. If you have high humidity or just don’t want to worry about images getting smeared, then again WP is for you. Now for the first time, printing, flashing and cooling are all performed on the same print head. After the print stroke, the Flashback automatically slides its thin quartz element in between the garment and the screen, instantly flash drying and then cooling the garment.
Now that brings us to the Freedom. It has nearly all the features of the Javelin. The main differences are: No foot pedal for manual indexing (but it's an option), Slightly lighter weight steel tubing (It's still built like a tank) and a slower indexer (Most shops only average 400 pcs/hr on an auto anyway).
